My Resume

This area will be a placeholder for you when you build your resume.  Once you build it, you can either link to it – or better yet -embed it!

As a student, developing a resume is a great way to start preparing for the working world. Resumes can be used for job applications, to secure internships and even to help complete college applications. Your resume will likely be focused on relevant coursework, extracurricular activities like sports, volunteering,  and/or clubs and any work history and relevant talents and skills you have acquired during your #ByronBears experience!

Resume Sections

Pick an assortment that works for you!

  • Heading with your name and e-mail (since you are posting online, leave your phone/address off your published digital resume)
  • Linked In, Twitter, or Instagram profiles (build your Positive digital footprint)
  • High school information with your graduation date, GPA (weighted), class rank, and SAT/ACT scores
  • Academic awards, publications, honors, and other achievements
  • Coursework (summer programs, college courses, or other specialized workshops that do not appear on your high school transcript)
  • Certifications (Welding, A+, ect)
  • Extracurricular activities
  • Community service
  • Work experience
  • Leadership experiences
  • Hobbies
  • Soft Skills (Team player, Customer service, Detail-oriented)
  • Hard Skills (e.g. Fluent in Spanish, Adobe Photoshop, HTML expertise)
  • A shortened URL linking your B-Portfolio!
