This quarter I was doing okay towards the beginning. Then we got into harder units and I started struggling. I invested in a tutor, which helped me very much throughout the year. In the first few tests, I got 60-70 percent. I then retested and got better scores. The unit I want to focus on is unit 8 Quadratics. On the original test, I received 50 percent but after meeting with my tutor and going through test corrections with my math teacher Mr.Nelson, I retook the test and improved by 27.8 percent. I think these quarters math best fits into communication and critical thinking. critical thinking because we have to retain the way how to do the problems and the different strategies. I also believe communication fits in this category because we work with the teacher to correct our mistakes. I also help out the peers around me.
