In this unit of my science 9A class, we are learning about elements and the name of elements. We were quizzed on these elements and were asked to memorize 60 of them. Some effective strategies that helped me learn these elements are hand made flashcards. I made the flashcards during class. When Mrs.Omland gave us time to study I would use my flashcards. When I went home I created a quizlet with all the elements I needed to know and I quizzed myself for 10-15 minutes every night before the test. Right before our elements test, she gave us 5-7 minutes to study and I took out my green element sheet covered up the element name with my hand and said the abbreviation that belongs with that element name.
