REFLECTION:
The aspect of my project that I am most proud of is the third slide, five sentences and five questions. I am most proud of this because I had to use what I have learned about the Spanish language and create complete sentences and questions, which is something I will likely use in the future. Although I am most proud of my third slide, I would also say that this was the most difficult slide for me. I had to really think to make sure that I was writing correctly. Also, considering Spanish is not my first language, I am not used to writing in Spanish. This artifact connects to Profile of a Graduate through the C of creativity and the C of critical thinking in my opinion. I say creativity because, in my presentation, I tried to be creative while creating my slides, so they would look more interesting. I also had to be creative while coming up with sentences and questions to write. I also believe it fits in critical thinking because I had to use critical thinking while creating my sentences and questions to write to make sure I was using the right terms in the right places and right order. I plan to take this learning and bring it forward because my family and I occasionally go on and have been to locations where most individuals speak Spanish. Now that I have learned a lot of the Spanish vocabulary, and how to speak and write in Spanish, I am able to apply my learning to have a conversation with other individuals who speak Spanish. I am not sure what career path I am going to take, but it is also helpful to have a second language like Spanish in almost every career path. To improve my project and to practice what I have learned, I would try to write ten sentences and questions instead of five. This way I would be able to practice my learning even further and have it be checked by my teacher to make sure my grammar and spelling were correct. Overall, I really liked this project and it really helped me to continue learning how to write with correct grammar and spelling in Spanish.
