Crafts Collage Reflection

For this project in Crafts, we were asked to create a collage out of things we found around the classroom. For my collage, I used various colors of tissue paper for the sky, ground, river, and sun. I also used pages from a book for mountains and clouds. I am very proud of many things in this project, but I am most proud of the sky. This is my favorite part because of how colorful it is and how it makes the collage much more fun. While the sky is my favorite part, it was also the most difficult part for me and took the most time. The sky is the majority of the page, so it took very long. I ripped small pieces to make it more unique, but it did make the process much longer when glue-ing it on.

This project connects to the Profile of a Graduate through Creativity. I think that it connects through creativity because it was made in an art class which is using a lot of creativity. I had to be as creative as I could while making this so that mine would be original and different from my other classmates. If I had the opportunity to do this project again I wouldn’t change anything, but I would add something. I would want to add little trees at the bottom of the mountains to make it more interesting. Overall, I am very happy with how my project turned out and I would definitely do it again for fun if I could.
