I play two sports which both bring me so much joy, basketball and soccer. I have been playing with a soccer ball and basketball ever since I can remember. In our 2021 soccer season, our team advanced to the state tournament by beating our school rival, the Kasson-Mantorville Komets. That is one of the most enjoyable experiences I have ever been a part of, and one I will never forget. Although we have never advanced to the state tournament in basketball, I find so much joy in that sport as well. I love being a part of something bigger than myself, a team… a family. I have my soccer family and my basketball family and I couldn’t be more grateful.
